Beginning in 1972 out of Joanne and Steve’s railroad apartment on West 96th Street, West Side Movers has grown to become a neighborhood staple for moving, storage, boxes and supplies.
West Side Movers focuses on offering top quality moving services to residents and organizations within the borough of Manhattan and beyond. The team consists of seasoned professional movers who work together closely all year round, and whom are experienced moving within New York City buildings, moving to and from surrounding suburbs, as well as handling private long distance moving up and down the east coast.
The Moving Store, the original store for moving boxes and supplies, is the online store of West Side Movers. Many neighbors remember their former store fronts at 644 Amsterdam Avenue (1980-2010) and 963 Columbus Avenue (2010-2021).
